First produced in Bristol on 27th August 1900. After an extensive provisional tour, the show was produced at the Apollo Theatre, London, on 7th. September 1901, under the management of George Edwardes and Charles Frohman, and was later performed at the New Amsterdam Theatre, New York, on 25th. January 1909.
