Since I seem to have little success at painting any man-made artefact, I prefer to confine my efforts to natural landscapes. My reason for using acrylics is mainly domestic. Apart from the aroma, oil paintings take a long time to dry, and are liable to smudge if stacked away too soon. And unlike water colours, acrylics give the artist more scope for correcting defects and superimposing final details.
