[Waiter:] (sadly) Oh, sir! Kindly sir,
I wish that I could offer you Irish stew,
But sir, kindly sir, I know not how to tell you,
The stew I cannot sell you,
I've dropped it! Now there's none for you.
[as Customer:] Well, for heaven's sake bring something soon,
I'm really feeling starved,
And the time I had allotted for my meal has now been halved.
[as Waiter:] There's only one thing left, sir, a nice big pot of tea,
But it's not very hot, no, it's not very hot,
For I made it half an hour ago for me!
[as Customer:] You really are quite hopeless!
Is there nothing I can eat?
